ABOUT SOL IMPACT
ol Impact is a coaching practice built on the belief that meaningful change starts from within — and that true transformation happens when strategy and self-awareness meet. Founded by Jennifer Koussaya-Kent, a certified leadership and executive coach, Sol Impact blends evidence-based coaching, emotional intelligence, and grounded personal development to help leaders navigate complexity with confidence. Jennifer brings a warm yet transformative approach that encourages leaders to pause, reflect, and reconnect with who they are at their core, so they can make decisions that feel aligned, intentional, and impactful.
Rooted in the idea that the strongest leaders are those who lead themselves first, Sol Impact offers a coaching experience that goes far beyond problem-solving. It creates room for clarity, resilience, and empowered action — giving clients the tools to break old patterns, strengthen relationships, and show up more authentically in both their work and their lives. Whether supporting executives, entrepreneurs, or emerging leaders, Sol Impact’s mission is to create lasting internal shifts that ripple outward into teams, organizations, and communities.
The starting point
When Jennifer first came to me, she was in the early days of building her coaching practice while also working full-time. She knew she wanted to launch with a polished, professional presence rather than taking a DIY approach. It was important to her that her brand reflected the depth of her experience, the quality of her work, and the type of clients she wanted to attract. She wanted to step into this new chapter with confidence and put something into the world that she could feel truly proud of.
At that time, the business did not yet have a name and the foundation had not been fully articulated. Jennifer had a clear understanding of what she wanted to do and the impact she wanted to make, but the ideas were still living in her mind without structure or refinement. We were starting from a place of gathering all of her thoughts, intentions, and offerings and shaping them into something cohesive. The goal at this stage was to bring order to the vision, define the heart of the brand, and create the clarity needed to move forward with strong visuals, a compelling website, and a fully formed suite of services. This was the groundwork required to build Sol Impact at the level she envisioned and at the level it deserved.
The Name
Naming the business was one of the first major steps, and we were starting with a completely blank slate. Jennifer didn’t have any initial ideas, so my role was to help generate options, review possibilities, and guide her through the pros, cons, risks, and long-term considerations of each one. Because she wanted a name that genuinely reflected her work and felt right for the future of her business, we spent thoughtful time exploring different directions rather than rushing a decision.
As we moved through this process, it became clear that choosing the right name was tied closely to clarifying her unique value and approach. Instead of forcing a name before the brand was fully formed, I shifted gears and had her complete part of the website questionnaire early. This helped her reflect on what makes her different, how she wants clients to feel, and what she ultimately offers. That clarity helped surface the themes that mattered most. From there, the name Sol Impact emerged — capturing both the sun imagery she loved and the soul-centred, somatic depth of her work. It became the perfect fit for the brand she was building.
the branding
With the name finalized, we moved into developing the visual identity that would bring Sol Impact to life. Working closely with designer Mai Mongelous, we set out to create a brand that felt grounded, warm, and deeply professional — a visual reflection of Jennifer’s calm presence and the clarity-focused work she does with her clients. We built the direction around the core themes that had emerged during discovery: alignment, inner transformation, and the sense of a rising horizon. The logo system includes a primary wordmark, alternate layouts, and a clean sun-inspired icon that can be used independently to reinforce brand recognition across digital and print applications.
For the colour palette, we anchored the brand in a rich navy as the dominant tone, using gold as a refined accent to signal confidence, warmth, and guidance. Soft, muted green appears subtly throughout as a nod to nature and to the grounding somatic qualities of Jennifer’s work. Typography pairs The Seasons for elegant, expressive headers with Montserrat for modern, approachable body copy. Together — through thoughtful use of tone, linework, and symbolism — the full brand system created a cohesive identity that feels spacious, calm, and aligned, perfectly expressing the Sol Impact experience.
the website
With the brand identity in place, the next step was to design a website that felt calm, intuitive, and reflective of the quality of Jennifer’s work. The goal was not only to create something beautiful but to ensure that every part of the site communicated with clarity and intention. We focused heavily on the user experience, making the site easy to navigate and ensuring that visitors could quickly understand who Jennifer is, what she offers, and how her approach stands apart. This meant spending meaningful time refining her About section, shaping her story in a way that felt authentic and grounded, and clearly articulating each of her service offerings so potential clients could easily identify the support that fit their needs.
The visual branding integrated seamlessly into the website, especially with the help of the beautiful brand images Jennifer provided. These photos added depth, warmth, and a sense of presence that made the site feel personal rather than abstract. The navy and gold palette created a polished, professional foundation, while subtle greens and sun-inspired elements added softness and grounding. Together, the structure, copy, visuals, and brand elements created a digital experience that feels spacious, trustworthy, and aligned — a clear reflection of the Sol Impact coaching experience.
the feedback
As a first-time entrepreneur launching my executive coaching practice, I was looking for someone who could guide me through the branding and website process with clarity and professionalism. Working with Elizabeth at Suni Creative exceeded my expectations.
