Website in a Week Agreement
Thank you for choosing Website in a Week! This agreement outlines how the process works, what's included, and what we both need to do to ensure your website is successfully launched within the scheduled Build Week.
By booking Website in a Week, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Service
Website in a Week is a streamlined website design service delivered in Squarespace.
Your investment includes:
A custom-designed Squarespace website
Either a 1 page or (up to) 4 page website (depending on package selected)
Strategic website copywriting
Mobile optimization
Basic SEO setup
Contact form configuration
Domain connection (if required)
One year of Squarespace website hosting (Business Plan)
One year of domain registration (if required)
Setup of one professional email account (if required)
Website launch
Any work outside of this scope may require an additional quote and may extend the project timeline.
2. Investment
The total investment for Website in a Week is:
One-Page Website: $1,950 + HST
Complete Website: $4,250 + HST
3. Payment Schedule
Payment is made in three instalments:
25% due upon booking to reserve your Build Week.
50% due prior to the start of your Build Week once all required pre-work has been submitted.
25% due upon project completion, prior to website launch.
Your website will not be launched until the final payment has been received.
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
4. Reserving Your Build Week
Your Build Week is reserved exclusively for your project.
Your booking is confirmed once:
This agreement has been signed.
The initial 25% booking payment has been received.
Because this time is reserved exclusively for you, the booking payment is non-refundable.
5. Pre-Work Requirements
Website in a Week works because the planning happens before Build Week begins.
Prior to your scheduled Build Week, you will be required to submit:
Completed Website Questionnaire
Logo files
Brand assets
Photography
Existing copy (where applicable)
Testimonials
Any additional requested materials
You'll receive a detailed onboarding checklist outlining exactly what is required and when.
6. Build Week Policy
To ensure your website can be completed within the scheduled week, all required pre-work and the second payment must be received by the deadlines outlined during onboarding.
If these requirements are not met, your reserved Build Week will be forfeited.
The initial booking payment remains non-refundable, and a new Build Week will need to be booked based on future availability.
7. Approvals & Communication
Website in a Week is a collaborative process.
Throughout Build Week, I'll send designs, copy and other project milestones for your review and approval.
During onboarding, you'll have the opportunity to let me know your preferred days and times for receiving approval requests so they work around your schedule where possible.
To maintain the Website in a Week timeline, approvals must be received within one (1) business day.
Delays in approvals may extend the project timeline and launch date.
8. Revisions
Website in a Week includes one consolidated round of revisions during Build Week.
This is intended for refining the website—not redesigning it.
Additional revisions or significant design changes requested after the included revision round may be billed at $150 CAD per hour or quoted separately.
9. Additional Pages & Scope Changes
Website in a Week includes up to four website pages.
Additional pages are available for $350 CAD per page and may extend the project timeline by approximately one business day per page.
Additional functionality—including ecommerce, membership areas, booking systems, advanced integrations, multilingual websites, or custom functionality—is outside the scope of Website in a Week and may require a custom proposal.
10. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a successful project, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Submit all requested materials by the required deadlines.
Respond to approval requests within one business day.
Review the website carefully prior to launch.
Delays in providing information, approvals or requested materials may impact the project timeline.
11. Website Launch
Once:
the website has been approved,
the final payment has been received, and
all outstanding items have been completed,
your website will be published.
Following launch, ownership of your website content belongs to you.
12. Third-Party Services
Website in a Week includes setup of third-party services including Squarespace, domain registration and one professional email account where applicable.
Ongoing subscription renewals after the first year are the responsibility of the client and will be billed directly by the applicable provider.
13. Intellectual Property
All website designs, graphics, copy and supporting materials created by Elizabeth Suni remain the intellectual property of Elizabeth Suni Creative Consulting until final payment has been received.
Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the completed website and approved deliverables transfers to the client, excluding any licensed fonts, stock photography, third-party software or platform assets.
Elizabeth Suni Creative Consulting reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media channels and marketing materials.
14. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure your website is accurate and functions correctly, Elizabeth Suni Creative Consulting cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party platforms, hosting providers, domains or email services.
The client is responsible for reviewing all website content prior to launch.
