The Process

    • You’ll complete a questionnaire to help me understand more about you, your business, your vision for your website, and any possible domains (if you don’t already have one).

    • We’ll review your questionnaire and chat about your business, your website vision, the process, and examples of websites you like.

    • To ensure your website is on-brand, I’ll need access to your logos, fonts, colours, brand messaging, and photography.

    • Don’t have these yet? I can help! Check out my branding services or packages.

    • I’ll create a high-level site structure and provide you with a workbook outlining the suggested copy for each page and section.

    • You’ll provide key messages and bullet points, which I’ll refine it into final copy for your review and approval.

    • I’ll share an initial sneak peek of 1-2 pages designed in the proposed style and aesthetic.

    • We’ll review together and gather feedback to ensure we’re on track before completing the full build.

    • Once the full site is built, I’ll send you a video walkthrough and ask you to explore it on desktop and mobile.

    • We’ll then meet for 30 minutes to review together and discuss edits.

    • I’ll complete your edits, and we’ll meet to review and discuss any final feedback.

    • I’ll complete final edits included in your service package.

    • Additional revisions are possible and will be billed at an hourly rate.

    • I’ll conduct a final review and testing of your site to ensure everything is ready for launch.

    • I’ll assist with the technical requirements to make your website active.

    • I’ll set up Google Analytics and provide instructions on how to track your site’s performance.

    • You’ll receive training videos on how to make updates and add content to your site.

    • I’ll be available for up to 3 hours of website support or edits within the first 12 months of your site going live. Additional support is available at an hourly rate.

    • I primarily build websites using Squarespace. It’s user-friendly, professional, and easy for clients to update on their own—no coding required.

    • The price does not include the cost of your website hosting subscription. I use Squarespace as the website platform and through my discount, the annual cost is $308.00 + HST. With this subscription you do get a free domain and one free Google Workspace account (email address) for 12 months which is valued at approximately $130 + HST.

    • Yes, you’ll need to provide key messages and bullet points for each section of the site using the content workbook I provide. Don’t worry if it’s not polished—I’ll refine it into final copy for your review and approval.

  • Absolutely! If your site needs e-commerce, booking forms, or other special features, we can include them. Just let me know your requirements in the questionnaire. Additional charges may apply.

    • Yes! All websites I build are fully responsive, meaning they’ll look great and function seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.

    • You’ll receive up to 3 hours of website support or edits within the first 12 months of launch. Additional updates or changes can be completed at an hourly rate.

    • I’ll provide training videos showing you how to make updates and add content to your website. However, if you need ongoing maintenance, I can provide website updates or changes as needed at an hourly rate.

    • While my websites are built with basic SEO best practices, full SEO services are not included. I can provide guidance or refer you to an SEO specialist if you need more advanced support.
