Digital Marketing Coordinator (Contract)

Part-time | Hybrid
$25–$40 per hour
Expected hours: 10–15 per week
Location: Hybrid remote with on-site work in Wallaceburg, ON (N8A 4E3)

Are you obsessed with high-end branding?

Do you love staying ahead of digital trends, spotting what’s next before it’s everywhere, and creating content that feels elevated, intentional, and editorial — not generic or templated? If you get excited about beautiful visuals, clean composition, and crafting content that truly fits a brand, keep reading.

The Skin Shop and The Skin Clinic are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to support both brands across social media and email marketing. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp creative eye, a strong understanding of luxury aesthetics, and the ability to execute high-quality content within clearly defined brand standards.

Both brands are established, elevated, and highly visual. We’re looking for someone who knows how to create content that feels polished, intentional, and on-trend, while staying true to each brand’s unique voice and guidelines.

The Role

You’ll support the day-to-day digital marketing execution for both brands, with a strong focus on social media content creation and email support. This includes planning, creating, and executing content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, as well as assisting with regular email newsletters and community engagement.

The successful candidate will work directly with Elizabeth Suni Creative Consulting, which oversees the marketing strategy and direction, while also working closely with the owner and founder of The Skin Shop and The Skin Clinic to bring that strategy to life through thoughtful, high-quality content.

Required Skills & Experience

This role requires professional marketing experience. While a strong personal Instagram presence is great, this position is not suited to someone who is only familiar with creating content for their own social channels.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a marketing, communications, or social media role (agency, in-house, or contract)

  • Demonstrated experience creating content for business or brand accounts, not just personal use

  • A solid understanding of how content supports broader marketing goals such as brand consistency, engagement, and growth

  • Experience working within defined brand standards and visual guidelines

  • Advanced proficiency in Canva

  • A degree or certificate in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field is considered a strong asset

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s licence (required for on-site work in Wallaceburg and Chatham)

  • A personal computer or laptop suitable for content creation, email marketing, and day-to-day digital work

  • A smartphone capable of capturing high-quality photo and video content for social media

Key Characteristics & Work Style

This is a role for someone who is confident, capable, and self-directed. You should be able to:

  • Work independently and manage your time effectively without close supervision

  • Meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple deliverables at once

  • Take direction, apply feedback, and execute without ongoing hand-holding

  • Be proactive, organized, and solution-oriented

  • Hit the ground running while remaining open to learning and growth

Preferred Skills (Assets)

While not required, experience in any of the following areas would be considered a strong asset:

  • Familiarity with Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram advertising)

  • Experience with Google Ads, including Google Shopping Ads

  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices

  • Experience with website platforms such as Squarespace or Shopify, including basic content updates

  • Experience building or supporting advanced email automations, segmentation, and customer journeys (particularly in Klaviyo)

Growth & Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-end, distinctive marketing deliverables for two established premium brands. You’ll gain exposure to elevated creative direction, thoughtful strategy, and real-world execution that goes beyond basic content creation.

There is strong potential to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility in this role. This is very much a you-get-what-you-put-in opportunity. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, works with intention, and sees this role as a chance to develop professionally — not just a casual side gig.

For the right person, this role can grow in scope and impact over time.
