Client Showcase: prem.

Now that we are officially two months into operating and supporting clients from a branding and marketing perspective, I wanted to share some of the work we have been doing for Tiffany over at Prem. Prem. is a Chatham-based clothing boutique that sells fashionable and quality styles for men and women and is my go-to spot for trendy casual clothes or when I’m heading out for a date night or special event. They have a brick-and-mortar store located at 103 King Street West and an online store you can shop 24/7.

The ask

When Tiffany and I started working together in September, the initial ask was for support in creating video content and helping her achieve a more cohesive brand aesthetic. Tiffany had a vision for how she wanted her brand to come across but was having a hard time executing it for a few main reasons:

  • TIME: Between running her business, working in the store and being the mom of two young girls, she was having a hard time finding time to execute all her creative ideas

  • ASSETS: Since Prem. caries a variety of different brands, the photography Tiffany has access to varies quite a bit, resulting in a lack of consistency and brand unity

When designing her service offering, we knew we wanted to go beyond just filming content for her and assist with making it easy for her to bring her brand vision to life, and we set the following goals:

  1. Evolve the Prem. brand aesthetic to be high-fashion, a bit moody and CONSISTENT

  2. Support Tiffany in creating and curating imagery that aligns with this aesthetic

  3. Create video content that positions Prem. as your go-to boutique for trendy clothing that makes you feel fabulous

This was the feed mock-up we put together to capture the desired vibe for Tiffany’s Instagram Feed.

The approach

Our main focus to-date (September and October) has been to lay the groundwork for Prem.’s new brand aesthetic through the following:

Monthly Photoshoots

Pulling together photoshoots is a lot of work (trust me, I’ve been doing them for years now), and we identified this as a large opportunity to save Tiffany time and help her achieve her goals. Still, we felt that regularly capturing new content that aligns with the brand aesthetic was a key area to focus on, so monthly mini-shoots were something we built into Tiffany’s monthly service offering.

Stock Photo Edits

We developed a consistent editing approach and applied it to the various product photos provided by each brand to ensure they could be shared cohesively across social media channels. This also gave Tiffany many more content options, making it even easier for her to post consistently. Our two-part approach included support editing existing photography and providing stock photo options that can be sprinkled into her feed.

Engaging Video

We focused on creating engaging and on-trend video content for her social channels that showcased her fabulous products and also shared that moody, mysterious and slightly bougie vibe. Additionally, to simplify her life, we drafted captions, provided hashtags and provided consistent cover photos for her to use. If you’d like to see what we created, head over to @shop.prem.store and be sure to follow for more great content AND CLOTHES!

THE RESULT

These first couple of months have been about establishing a vibe and re-establishing presence, so we have made that our initial goal and achieved it. Tiffany’s instagram looks levelled up, and people are also taking notice and sending her messages about it. While follower growth hasn’t been our focus yet (we wanted to get the foundation right first!), she did see an increase of roughly 2% month-over-month but, more importantly, has seen an increase of more than 60% in her engagement from her audience in the past two months which indicates our changes are resonating with her followers.

What’s next

We can’t share all our secrets, but now that we have achieved a great brand aesthetic, we will be shifting our focus to growth, conversions, and proactive campaign planning, and we may have a few other ideas up our sleeves. We are thrilled with the results we have achieved together over the past two months. Prem. is a brand we really believe in, and we can't wait to see what the future holds and are so grateful to be a part of it!
